About Katherine…
Do you want to know a few salient facts about me? Maybe…but I imagine you’re keen to establish:
whether my voice will suit your project
am I easy to work with; flexible, creative and fun
if I can produce a professional piece of work
if I can meet your timescales
if I can meet your budget…
Well, with close to 10 years VoiceOver experience, my own studio and edit suite - it is a resounding “YES” to all questions.
So…a few facts.
My Dad calls me “Smiler”.
I have a background as a TV Presenter specialising in technology and Electronics products and as a Broadcast Journalist for the BBC (Radio 5Live). I have a BS(Hons) in Business Studies and am a professionally trained Consultative Salesperson.
I love sports (and was a Researcher for the BBC for the Sydney Olympics), learnt Ballroom and Latin American dancing as a teenager and more recently tap dancing. I am in a Choir and have sung at the Albert Hall, the Barbican, the Royal Festival Hall and the Houses of Parliament and can’t wait to get back to singing.
I was the voice of The London Eye for 14 years and Chessington World of Adventures. Most of my voice work is Corporate, e-learning and On-hold messages, but I am trained in Cartoon, Radio Drama, and Video Gaming voices too!
I lived in Sydney, Australia for 2 years working as a TV host, Radio DJ and Product demonstrator and in Belize, Central America, for 3 months with Raleigh International working on Scientific, Environmental and Community projects - both of which were character building and amazingly positive experiences.
I love working with creative and passionate people and love my work!
Oh, and I have “lockdown hair!”
